I’ll be bringing burlap wreaths and handmade painted rustic signs to this fantastic market. I started this business as a stay at home momma 6+ years ago making all kinds of crafts and have settled on home decor. I love to create beautiful, quality, positive, up lifting, inspired pieces that will hang in your homes for years to come.“

Stockton Rags is one of our vendors that has been with us for several markets and quickly found a special place in our hearts. Not only do they make an amazing product, they use ALL their proceeds for youth mentoring programs!!! Doesn’t that make you want to support them?! Also, they printed us our fabulous Four Friends Market shirts, so we are a bit biased.

Here’s a bit more about Stockton Rags from graphic designer and artist Tim, “RAGS works with a collective of artists and designers who contribute clothing designs that are then hand-printed in our local print shop. These designs are sold on our website, local boutiques, and maker markets throughout California, and all proceeds are invested back into youth mentoring programs.“

Vendor Spotlight: The Creative Nook

August 12, 2019 By: Mallory

Rachel from The Creative Nook has been with us for almost every market. She is such a genuine and fun person. She makes the most beautiful wreaths. And she always has so many too choose from. It will blow your mind and make it had to choose just one.

Here’s a bit about The Creative Nook from Rachel herself, “Hi! My name is Rachel and I am the gal behind The Creative Nook. I have a pup named Willis and I love all things plants and floral! I have always been creative since I was young. It all started with some paper flowers I found at Hobby Lobby when they first opened up in Modesto. Friends and family loved my work (but I wasn’t sure if they were just being “nice”) sooo… I took a chance to see if “strangers” liked my work and signed up for my first market with Four Friends Market! I haven’t looked back since! With lots of trial and error, hot glue burns (still happens all the time) I continue to come up with unique, realistic, one of a kind wreaths to bring some cheer in the world and add a touch to your home decor! To all those who have supported me throughout the years and continue to – I appreciate you! I hope my wreaths bring a smile to your face! I hope to see you this year at Four Friends Market…. where this business began!“

You can connect with The Creative Nook on facebook and instagram.

Rachel, it is always a pleasure to have you at Four Friends Market. We are so glad you are coming back for our September 6th market and look forward to seeing what beautiful and unique wreaths you bring with you this time.

August 8, 2019 By: Mallory

The cool thing about Four Friends Market has been meeting local makers and creators along the way. We didn’t know Maureen from Wood U Play when she first signed up for our market. But she arrived with some adorable handmade wood toys and we were in love. She has now been with us for the past several markets.

Here is a bit about Wood U Play from Maureen herself, “I am a grandmother who started making simple wooden toys for our first grand baby. Soon I was making toys for friends who were also experiencing the joy of becoming grandparents. I then started to sell my toys at local craft fairs. Vendor Spotlight: Everyday Hippy

August 5, 2019 By: Mallory

Our heart is supporting local small businesses and we love welcoming new ones to the market, as well as always feel blown away by the ones that return over and over again. We are so happy to welcome Janelle from Everyday Hippy to the market for the first time! They offer natural home and beauty products that don’t break the bank.

Here’s more about Everyday Hippy from Janelle herself, “Having spent years searching for products that were free of harmful chemicals, were local and accessible, and didn’t cost half a paycheck, Janelle finally turned to creating her own home and beauty products. Through this process, Janelle found a passion for creating items that are free from harsh chemicals, are cost-effective, and accomplish the tasks of everyday life. Everyday Hippy is a home-grown, handmade company committed to bringing simple, clean products for your home and beauty using unique combinations of organic, natural products, free from chemical and over-processed ingredients.“
