VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Abide | Art by Tali {Talitha Belokonny}

April 23, 2015 By: Mallory

AbideLogoI’m Tali. Joyfully married to my Joshua and grateful mama to three kiddos. Things that feed my soul? Community, creating, and coffee. I like to squeeze each day dry, but also crave little pockets of true rest. Speaking life and cultivating delight are two of my biggest aims. Now, tell me about you!

While I have been creating since I was a little girl, this is the first year I have decided to sell what I make. I enjoy taking simple materials (wood, paper, gouache, acrylics, little sample containers of wall paint…) and creating something beautiful. I work during the fringe hours (while my three under three sleep).

You can find me on Instagram and Facebook.

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Heads Up Kids {Laura Blom}

April 21, 2015 By: Mallory

headsupKids-laurablomMy name is Laura and I am a stay-at-home-mom of two; a four year old girl and two year old boy. I have been married to my wonderful husband Gabe for 9 years! Before having children I worked as a social worker and therapist. Now, I run this little business of mine from a room in our house during nap time and after the kids go to bed, and I’m tired but I love it!

My business, Heads Up Kids, is a handmade apparel shop for hip littles! I started out a few years ago just making headbands for my daughter. It quickly snow-balled and after having my son I wanted to add some more gender neutral and boyish items. Fast forward a few years and it has evolved from a girl’s accesories shop, to a kids apparel shop with everything from headbands, beanies, and hats, to leggings, shorts, and a few t-shirts!

Heads Up Kids is all about comfortable, stylish, and functional pieces for girls and boys. I strive to make quality products and I am blessed to get to do something I love!

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Ect & So Forth {Heather Crooker}

April 17, 2015 By: Mallory

Etc Logo_

Hi, my name is Heather and I’m not so much of a creator as I am a connector. A few years ago, my extremely creative husband made me a copper rose for my birthday — it was awesome! I had never seen anything like it, so I told him he should make more and sell them.

I started an Etsy shop and his roses started to sell all over the world — pretty cool. As I learned more about how Etsy worked and got into it further, I realized that we needed more items for our shop. I myself as very lacking in the crafty side, but I have lots of family members that are very talented in this area. So, I enlisted the help of my sister, Jessica, and my gran, Joyce, and Ect. & So Forth was born! We have a little but of this and a little bit of that, hence our name. Some of our items include: copper roses, crocheted rugs, dried flower arrangements, planter boxes and more.

You can find us on Etsy and Facebook.

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Love Does Boutique {Bryana Porter}

April 7, 2015 By: Mallory

LovedoesBoutique

My name is Bryana and I’m the owner of Love Does Boutique. I married my highschool sweetheart and by God’s overflowing grace, we celebrate 8 years of marriage this year. We have 3 spunky daughters who make my role of stay at home momma exhaustingly rewarding and challenging. Other than crafting, my heart is passionate about women experiencing the same hope and freedom that I’ve found in Jesus. I very sporadically and blunderingly write out words on my blog.

When my first daughter was born, I was determined that she would be constantly adorned with hair accessories but I had a hard time finding unique and adorable ones. So i decided to learn how to make them myself and discovered that I absolutely loved the crafting of bows. And crafting bows led to crafting all sorts of fun things. If something looks handmade, I usually give it a try myself. I primarily sells girls hair accessories but also sell bowties, children’s gifts, and some home decor items.

You can find me on Instagram, Facebook and Etsy.

My business itself can be mostly credited to my 3 amazing friends of Four Friends Market. They have encouraged, supported and pushed me to get out there and give it a try. Numerous times, they have spent time working alongside me doing the stuff that I positively abhor…. All the computer stuff, shipping stuff, money stuff and pretty much everything other than crafting the stuff.
